choco Museum

Today we went to a small Museum about chocolate. You could sample chocolates and buy chocolates.
I took a picture of a squirrel sculpture eating a cacao fruit.
Here it is.

I also took some pictures of the process and where chocolate comes from.




After we look through the small Museum, we went two a little shop the back of the museum where they sold different flavor waffles with ice cream, sprinkles, hunks of chocolate, chocolate syrup, and different kinds of fruit. All in one massive waffle shaped into a cone. Like a waffle cone that you get at an ice cream shop except way bigger. At first I did not believe this picture I'm about to show you.


It was a poster on the way in.

But......

It was so good......

This is a picture of shrimp dinner that we had a couple of nights ago. It had tomatoes, cucumbers, 3 different types of yam-and of course shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. These are guava jelly and peanut butter sandwiches with mango on  the side. This picture of Saul shows him eating an ackee and salt-fish loaf that   my dad  and I bought at the bak ery. La Fortuna, Costa Rica

I really want to go back to La Fortuna, Costa Rica because while my family and I were there we had a lot of fun. The things that we did were: Arenal Volcano hike, a tour of a really cool farm, and my favorite, the hot spring rivers. Arenal Volcano I really liked the Arenal Volcano hike. The national park only let us go to the foothills because the volcano is still semi-active, having had a big eruption 1968 and a smaller one in 2010. On the hike we saw lots of lizards. Most of them were about five inches long with a blue stripe down their backs but others were about 10 inches and brown with dark dots. On the hike there was also a massive Kapok tree that is 400 years old and so big that if there was a tunnel through it you could drive a car through if you wanted. The tree had very large buttresses. Cacha falling star gardens

In Negril I loved to float in the blue inner tube at a place we stayed called  "cacha falling star gardens." This is the same pool with me waving at the camera. This pool is special because  it has a waterfall and you can go behind it!    This is a picture of Saul and my dad swimming in the  cacha falling star gardens pool.
