Adventures of Desmundo

This cow we met on our way back from Y.S. Falls and found this guy  on the side of the road eating the grass. This is a hermit crab my dad found for me around Cacona (where we're  staying). I lost him when I set him down in our indoor pool. We caught this cute picture wile we were on our way to Y.S. Falls for the day when we ran into a mother cow  licking her baby.

The person who had made this awesome structure is called 'Shaka'.  I was getting photographs of the fire before it was lit and I accidentally took one of him.  He asked me to delete it so now I have this picture of me standing next to the fire instead. This is before the bonfire started.... .....This is after!!

This is me and my two year old friend Oliver playing in the sand together. Oliver is digging and I'm making sand walls. This picture is of Oliver 'sweeping' the sand with a piece of a coconut tree that  had fallen off onto the beach.

This is a picture of shrimp dinner that we had a couple of nights ago. It had tomatoes, cucumbers, 3 different types of yam-and of course shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. These are guava jelly and peanut butter sandwiches with mango on  the side. This picture of Saul shows him eating an ackee and salt-fish loaf that   my dad  and I bought at the bak ery. These are my mom's and dad's lunch meals:snapper fish, festival (the brown stuff), and last of all callaloo and coco veg (the green stuff).

I thought that this picture was funny because goats aren't supposed to be near motorcycles-or are they? (they might do damage!)

See those red and yellow plants? That's ginger. I found it in the  cacha falling star gardens place. This is a Yucca plant. You can't see them in this picture but the Yucca plant has a defense which are little spikes. They are all over the plant so don't touch it! This is a cactus plant. Cacti usually grow in clumps very close  together. Here cactus grow around trees. This is a different type of cactus. It is not sharp at all and grows in  strange shapes. In the upper left-hand corner  is a pink bloom.

This picture is of a palm-tree. Behind it is orange and blue sky with a very bright sun with palm-tree leaves above it. This picture has orange clouds and then a darker orange sky with black clouds and a sun. Below it is a slanting sea. This picture is of a"smoking" sun with the sea and some cool grey  clouds covering the orange.

In Negril I loved to float in the blue inner tube at a place we stayed called  "cacha falling star gardens." This is the same pool with me waving at the camera. This pool is special because  it has a waterfall and you can go behind it!    This is a picture of Saul and my dad swimming in the  cacha falling star gardens pool.

Here are some pictures of when we were in Negril. We went to a place  called "Jus natural"and saw the country's  national bird, the 'doctor bird'.  Here is a picture of a doctor bird drinking from a feeder .

Desmond in Jamaica  We went to Jamaica because we wanted to have a family vacation because of my new little brother Saul. Before  we left to Jamaica we were very excited that we were finally going after my  last day of school for a month. So we went off to the air port to weigh our luggage.(The luggage had to be under 50 pounds...we had a lot of luggage)!
